Lucia Mondadori explore l’univers des vases abstraits et sculpturaux, la matière brute, les formes organiques et minimalistes. Dans son atelier elle crée des pièces à la frontière entre fonctionnalité et objet d’art. Les collections naissent au fil de l’eau. Chaque pièce est unique ou fabriquée en série très limitée, entièrement à la main.

La terre est d’origine locale et les émaux sont issus de recherches personnelles. L'inspiration, elle, vient de partout : les rivages, les galets, les formes féminines, mais aussi l’art primitif et abstrait. Le croisement des différentes cultures passionne Lucia. Son objectif est d’apporter avec ses pièces un moment de contemplation et de re-connexion avec la terre.

Lucia vit à Paris et travaille à l’atelier St Sabin dans le 11e arrondissement de Paris.

      Difficult Assembly and Very Unstable
      Extremely difficult to assemble. It seems like the metal wasn't cut well. Some things screw right in, while others will make your hands raw trying. It is true to size, which is great, aside from the fact that with how hard it is to build, disassembling and reassembling for storage would be a nearly impossible task, and it's extremely hard to tuck away anywhere fully built with the size and feet on the bottom. It's also pretty unstable and doesn't stand fully straight, which is a little nerve wracking with pets in the room. I am dreading dissassembling this thing to return it once I have something to replace it, but trust that I will be ASAP.
